According to Business Insider, Johnson earns a staggeringly high $20 million per movie.

The Wall Street Journal reported for the upcoming Red Notice, Johnson will earn $22 million total.

From his salary, $21 million will go to Johnson’s base pay and $1 million towards Johnson’s “social media support” for the movie.

Johnson’s impressive 2018 salary was down to blockbusters like Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Skyscraper, Baywatch, and Fast & Furious 8.

Fighting with My Family sees Johnson return to his wrestling alter ego The Rock.

Johnson took to Instagram to announce Fighting with My Family in February 2018.

He wrote: “Paige and I both know what it’s like to come from a wrestling family who’s had it’s good and hard times.

In Fighting with My Famiy, The Rock gives Paige a pep talk.

In the scene, The Rock says: “Paige, I myself have come from a wrestling family too. I know exactly what it means to you.

“Don’t worry about being the next me. Be the first you.”

According to The Rock, this is a similar pep talk to the one he gave the real Paige.

Fighting with My Family is now playing in cinemas.
