Radio 1 Big Weekend: Little Mix cause chaos as Perrie Edwards says ‘F**K’ on stage
The cheeky singer, 23, had just belted a money note in the band’s song Down and Dirty – which has a censored swear word in it – when she let the F-word fly.
“F**k that, get down and dirty!” she declared.
Matt Edmondson, anchoring live coverage on the radio station, apologised to any offended listeners.
One amused fan tweeted: “Perrie yelled out the ‘f..k that’ in Down and Dirty and it was caught on the live stream.”
Radio 1’s Big Weekend started yesterday with a number of tributes to the victims of Monday’s terror attack in Manchester.
Nick Grimshaw led a minute’s silence, while Zara Larsson said: “I know there’s a lot of genres of music but music itself it doesn’t have a religion, a country, or an ethnicity.
“It’s something that we do and it unites us all – and I want this song to be dedicated to what happened in Manchester, because it’s about wanting to be a part of someones Symphony, someone’s life, and that to me is the most important thing.”
