Prince Charles charms Queen Letizia with a kiss on her hand as she dons £13,000 earrings
Queen Letizia is a royal lauded for her stunning style.
Today was no different as the wife of King Felipe looked beautiful in blue.
Letizia flew to the UK to mark an opening of an exhibition honouring a famous Spanish painter.
Charles and the Spanish royal appeared to get on well at the event.
Royal reporter Richard Palmer was at the event and tweeted: “Queen Letizia of Spain arrives 20 minutes late to attend the opening with Prince Charles of Sorolla: Spanish Master of Light at the National Gallery in London tonight.”
Letizia was in London today to open the exhibition alongside the British royal.
Scrolla is a Spanish painter, and so the visit from the European royal was rather fitting.
The Queen, who is a mother-of-two, looked incredibly beautiful in a multi-coloured floral dress.
The dress had hues of navy, emerald and red and fell mid-calf.
It had three-quarter length sleeves. The full skirt was exaggerated by a nipped in waist.
Letizia’s hair was pulled back into a chic ponytail, parted in the middle.
She held a dark navy blue clutch and wore stilettos in a matching hue.
She wore a pair of show stopping earrings with enormous blue stones.
Queen Letizia wore a pair of earrings which fans on Twitter identified as being Bvlgari, an Italian luxury brand.
While the Queen’s pair were not available on the brand’s site, it appeared that they were from the “MVSA” collection.
These are worth £13,400, but a bespoke pair for a royal could be worth much, much more.
The last time Letizia wore these spectacular gems was in September 2018, at the Royal Theatre in Madrid.
