Real Madrid News: Man Utd transfer demand, Chelsea deal causing anger, Ronaldo message

Manchester United star David De Gea has told Real Madrid they must act quickly if they are to secure his signature.

That is according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, who say the goalkeeper does not want his future to become a saga of the summer.

Real left it until deadline day when they tried to sign him two summers ago, only for a faulty fax machine to ensure he stayed put.

And it is said De Gea is even ready to sign a new contract with United if the current La Liga holders do not move swiftly to get the deal done.

Furthermore, Real are said to be unwilling to meet the Red Devils’ asking price of £63million – with club president Florentino Perez willing to pay just £43m.

Real Madrid players are willing to quit if Chelsea star Eden Hazard is signed, reports claim.

Diario Gol say both Isco and Marco Asensio are fearful of what a deal for the Belgium international could mean for them.

Despite impressing when given the chance, both players are not shoe-ins for Zinedine Zidane’s starting line-up.

And they are supposedly worried that the arrival of Hazard would push them further down the pecking order.

Both players could even quit the Bernabeu if the Chelsea star is recruited.

Cristiano Ronaldo has sent a message to his Real Madrid team-mates ahead of Saturday’s Champions League final clash with Juventus.

The 31-year-old wants them to prove to the world they are better than the Serie A giants and the top team in world football.

“On the day of the game there is going to be a lot of nerves and I prefer not to think much about the final,” Ronaldo told Real Madrid TV.

“Too much humility isn’t good, we have to prove our character and who is the best.

“They are an excellent team but so are we, I have the feeling that we are going to play a great game and we are going to win.”
