James Bond 25: Early FOOTAGE revealed as Daniel Craig’s ‘final 007 movie’ starts filming

In the video, captured in the Nittedal area north of Oslo, a mysterious masked villain is in pursuit of a girl in a colourful coat. The man, dressed all in white and armed with a gun, has most of his face covered by a plain white theatrical mask as he limps and slips through the snow and ice, trying to catch up with the scared-looking child. Watch the video above.

The crew appear to film the sequence from afar, and then from right up close – running just ahead of the petrified youngster.

Eventually she can be seen ducking suddenly on the ground – after which the man can be seen shooting at the ice and crouching down, as if to pick something, or someone, out.

So it’s a possibility here that perhaps we’ll see the child fall below the ice, and the masked man will try to fish her out.

It’s unclear who either of the actors are here, although the man is not Rami Malek – widely believed to be playing the main antagonist to Craig’s James Bond.

Craig can also not be seen in the video, so it’s unknown how this sequence of events ties in to Bond’s story.

It was recently claimed that the 51-year-old leading man is working out for a jaw-dropping twelve hours a day in preparation for the action sequences, though this has not been confirmed.

“Being Bond requires a lot of energy and he is determined to make sure he is ready for it,” a source had told the Mail.

“It’s an action movie and he wants to give it his absolute best.”

“He has been enduring a gruelling diet and fitness regime that culminated in staggering 12-hour workout sessions last week.”

The title of Bond 25 is rumoured to be Eclipse, after producer Barbara Broccoli seemed to dampen speculation that it is Shatterhand.

Meanwhile, buzz on who will be Craig’s successor as 007 continues to rage, with Sam Heughan reported earlier this week to be top of Broccoli’s wishlist.

His odds have not seen any dramatic movement since, however: in fact some firms still list him as a 100/1 longshot.

Tom Hiddleston remains the favourite for the gig, ahead of Cillian Murphy and Richard Madden.

Ultimately, however, news on who will take over the sought-after role is likely well over a year away: this new film doesn’t even come out until April 2020.

In the meantime, the supporting cast and plot details of Bond 25 remain yet to be revealed.
