James Bond 25: THIS country meeting producers to secure shoot for Daniel Craig's last 007

Last week filming on James Bond 25 began in Norway, but this isn’t the only country that Craig and director Cary Fukunaga will be filming in. Earlier this month, Daily Mail Bond insider Baz Bamigboye alleged that Jamaica will be a location for principal filming. Bond fans will remember this is where Dr No and Live and Let Die were shot and where 007 creator Ian Fleming had a home. And now the Jamaican government have confirmed the rumours of filming for Bond 25.

The country’s JIS News shared an article confirming that Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett and Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sports Minister Olivia Grange will be travelling to Pinewood Studios to meet with Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson this coming week.

Minister Bartlett confirmed discussions were advanced, while the outlet said Jamaica will feature in the movie.

Bond 25 is also set to shoot in Matera, southern Italy, where The Passion of the Christ was shot.

Allegedly, Bond 25 may be shot in the area’s historic centre from April 6.

Bond 25 still doesn’t have an official title announced, but a press conference revealing the name and cast reveal are rumoured for next week.

The film’s working title is Shatterhand, but the actual name could be Eclipse after a possible accidental leak.

Meanwhile, Rami Malek is expected to be announced as the villain.

Bond 25 will be released in UK cinemas on April 3, 2020.
