Avengers 4 Endgame: Thanos' TERRIFYING new weapon revealed – WHY does he need it?

The Mad Titan was always famous for needing nothing more than his own giant fists in battle. Until, of course, he decided he needed to snap half of all life out of existence. Now that he’s done just that and badly damaged the Infinity Gauntlet in the process, he is planning on a nice quiet retirement on his mountain top. However, official new artwork and toy designs confirm Thanos will be going back into battle and he has a truly terrifying new weapon.

Hot Toys create some of the most accurate and lifelike film-related collectables out there and they have just revealed a new Thanos figure.

The company boast the design is “based on the most up-to-date details.” 

If you don’t want to spoil the surprise until you see the film do not scroll down any lower, where we have images of this new-look Thanos. 

But why would he even need this if he has six Infinity Stones?

Yes, it is an impressive weapon, but the MCU is full of heroes and villains with equally powerful weapons and their own incredible abilities.

There are mounting rumours that the Avengers may go after Thanos initially but then a far greater threat to the entire universe will emerge. Will the Avengers take the Infinity Stones from him, or might Thanos even surrender them for a greater good? Despite his actions, he has always believed what he is doing is for teh salvation of the universe.

Avengers 4 will not only end the first three MCU Phased, it will set up the next, including the new overarching ‘Big Bad.’

Many suspect Thanos’ dramatic Snap will have attracted the attention of someone like Annihilus or Galactus and fans already know the Eternals movie is in pre-production.

The new toy images show a fully restored Infinity Gauntlet, which is a little confusing when it was so badly damaged by the Snap.

Either this is an artistic choice, or Thanos will somehow restore it. There are also theories Eitri can use the mould to create a new one.

All will be revealed in just a few weeks…
