Ivanka Trump news: Donald Trump’s daughter gives rare insight into life with family snap

Ivanka Trump is a former model and businesswoman who now works alongside her dad as a senior political advisor.

It is clear that she is a family woman, but she rarely shares details of her private life on her social media.

Taking to Instagram to wish her son, Theodore, a happy birthday, she posted the moving snap for her 4.8 million followers.

The photograph appears to have been taken shortly after the birth of her son, and shows her with husband, Jared Kushner, 38, cuddled up with their newborn son.

Next to the post, she wrote: “Happy 3rd birthday Theodore! You have brought joy and laughter into our hearts and home each day of your little life.”

The post is one of very few personal photos that Ivanka shares on her Instagram page and it has been liked by a number of fans.

When thinking about her family, people may be more drawn to think about her famous parents, businessman Donald Trump and former model Ivana Trump, 70.

But Ivanka has a family of her own which she keeps more private and out of the limelight.

When did Ivanka get married and how many children does she have?

After marrying her husband nearly ten years ago, Ivanka is now a mum-of-three.

Ivanka first met her husband, Jared Kushner, in 2007 after a friend set them up to discuss business and they began dating instead.

After two years of dating, the pair got married in at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey in October 2009.

Ivanka reportedly only took three months to plan the lavish wedding that reportedly cost $1 million, or £791,600.

The businesswoman started a family just a couple of years later when her daughter, Arabella, seven, was born in July 2011.

Her son, Joseph, five, was born in October 2013 and Theodore was born in March 2016.

Ivanka is the senior advisor of the president and always makes sure she looks the part with a number of designer outfits.

Since she became the First Daughter, she has been spotted in a number of glamorous outfits with the most pricey of these was the first one she wore after Donald stepped into his new role.

She wore a two-piece green wool dress and matching coat by Oscar de la Renta, which totalled an eye-watering $6,280, or around £4,750.

The model has previously wore expensive outfits, including her Vera Wang wedding dress which is thought to have cost $50,000, or £39,580. 

To compliment this, she also picked out diamonds from the Vera Wang fine jewellery collection which is estimated to have cost $265,000 or around £201,000.
