Cast your memory back to 2013’s Iron Man 3, in which Tony Stark crash lands in Tennessee.

Tony met Harley when Tony’s prototype armour failed and stranded him.

He was found by Harley raiding the Keener family garage for something to fix his armour.

Harley helped Tony rebuild his suit which also helped bring Tony out of his funk.

At the end of Iron Man 3, Tony gifted Harley a treasure trove of computer and robotics equipment.

Many suspect the cameo is more than just a nod to fans.

A new theory, in fact, ties Harley to the mysterious noise after the credits.

One Reddit user wrote: “A friend mentioned that the post-credit “scene” (which was just the sound of a hammer striking metal repeatedly) was the same sound from the original Iron Man when Tony made the suit in the cave.

“This got me thinking, what if the teen guy from the funeral becomes the next Iron Man?

The theory may be a reach, but it wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility from Marvel.

They like tying up loose ends, and the little kid who was inspired by Stark taking over the mantle would be a perfect denouement.

But some fans think it was just Keener honouring the memory of Stark, who told him when he was a kid that they had a connection.
