Indiana Jones 5 SHOCK: Harrison Ford shares very SURPRISING update

Over a decade on since the last Indiana Jones movie and Steven Spielberg and Ford are back for a fifth outing. However, the release date was recently pushed back a year by Disney to July 9, 2021. Nevertheless, Ford has now revealed that Indiana Jones 5 is due to start shooting as early as next week. Speaking with Variety, the 76-year-old said: “[It] should be starting to shoot sometime next week.”

Ford was asked this by USA Today last week, but the star was adamant that no one could replace him as Indy.

He said: “Nobody is gonna be Indiana Jones. Don’t you get it? I’m Indiana Jones. When I’m gone, he’s gone. It’s easy.”

Continuing in his tongue-in-cheek manner, Ford added: “This is a hell of a way to tell Chris Pine this. I’m sorry, man.”

Last year, Spielberg revealed when Indiana Jones 5 will be set.

Teasing the movie to EMPIRE, he said: “I can say that whatever it is, it’s gonna be really good!

“We’re still working on the story and the script.

“It’ll be in the sixties.”

Indiana Jones 5 will be released in cinemas on July 9, 2021.
