Avengers Endgame: Does THIS Chris Hemsworth news rule Thor OUT of Guardians 3?

WARNING: Spoilers ahead for Avengers Endgame. The Marvel phenomenon saw the God of Thunder coming to terms with his huge loss, grief and trauma; after a five-year time jump revealed his depression had resulted in him staying indoors and gaining weight. At the close of the film, he was on the Guardians of the Galaxy ship.

“I just want to be at home now with my kids.”

He added: “They are at a very important age. They are still young and they are aware when I leave more than before.”

Hemsworth does still have some projects on his slate post-MIB, but at least two of them are thought to be in post-production: Dhaka and the Jay and Silent Bob reboot.

The Hulk Hogan biopic, however, appears to still have a question mark over it.

But the question is, will his break from acting rule him out of Guardians Vol 3?

The good news is that the threequel is not expected to go into production until 2021, after James Gunn has made the Suicide Squad sequel.

If Hemsworth does only intend to take a year off, he should still be in the frame.

Elsewhere, the star spoke on The Graham Norton Show last week about his experience of wearing a prosthetic ‘fat suit’ on set of Endgame.
