Fast and Furious 9 set DISASTER as stunt goes horribly wrong – Vin Diesel in ‘total SHOCK’

The ninth Fast and Furious movie is currently shooting at Warner Bros Studios in Hertfordshire. But Vin Diesel’s latest blockbuster has seen a serious injury take place after a horrific fall. A stunt double fell 30ft after leaping off a balcony and it’s feared his safety cable snapped. Filming was halted on Fast and Furious 9 for the day as Diesel’s stuntman was rushed to Royal London Hospital with serious head injuries.

The Sun’s source said: “The stuntman fell at least 30ft — maybe a bit more. Vin Diesel was seen on set seconds after.

“He looked ashen, totally in shock and blinking back tears. He saw what happened.

“They were filming a very high balcony scene. The stuntman leapt from the balcony attached to a safety wire, but it looks like the cable snapped.

“He was meant to be left dangling below the balcony via the wire and then lowered slowly to the ground, but he plunged to the ground and landed on his head.”

Elba is a bookies’ favourite to play the next Bond but refused for his villain Brixton to call himself a black James Bond.

According to The Rock, Elba declined because “it’s too close to what everybody’s talking about.”

Instead, he calls himself “black Superman”, although the actors seem to disagree on whose idea it was.

Fast and Furious: Hobbs and Shaw is released in UK cinemas on August 1, while Fast and Furious 9 arrives May 22, 2020.
