The heartbreaking reason Melania Trump will visit Poland and Denmark with husband Donald
The First Lady and her husband US President Donald Trump will mark the 80th anniversary of the beginning of World War 2. Melania plans to attend the memorial sites in Warsaw on September 1 with Trump. They will also visit the Queen of Denmark, Her Majesty Margrethe II.
The White House stated: “President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump will travel to Poland and Denmark from August 31 to September 3, 2019.
“The President and the First Lady will attend commemorative ceremonies and visit memorial sites in Warsaw on September 1, 2019, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the beginning of World War II.
“The President and the First Lady also accepted an invitation to visit Her Majesty Margrethe II, Queen of Denmark, where the President will participate in a series of bilateral meetings and meet with business leaders.
“The President and First Lady’s visits will highlight the historic ties between the United States, Poland, and Denmark, as well as our willingness to confront the region’s many shared security challenges.”

The visit comes just over two months after Melania and Trump visited the UK and attended a state banquet with the Royal Family.
Melania met the Queen and visited No 10 Downing Street during the three-day visit.
Following meetings with then-Prime Minister Theresa May, Melania and Donald dedicated the final day of the trip to D-Day commemorations.
They accompanied the Queen and Prince Charles to an official D-Day event in Portsmouth.
Melania’s trip to Poland and Denmark also comes a couple of weeks before she holds a state dinner for Australia’s Prime Minister and his wife, Mrs Morrison on September 20.
The dinner comes a year after Melania held a state dinner for French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife in 2018.
Melania faced harsh criticism for last year’s event following claims last year’s guest list was too small and did not include any Democratic Congress members, Newsweek reported.
She is also said to have used the same china patterns as Hillary Clinton.
But her spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham told The New York Times: “We’re probably not going to get the credit we deserve, but I know this team is great and she knows this team is great. We have not failed, and she has not failed.”
