Star Wars 9 Rise of Skywalker leaks: Palpatine Sith TWIST is very bad for Kylo Ren

Some upcoming things about Episode 9 we all already know after recent merchandise reveals at Comic-Con and clues gleaned from upcoming books and comics. The recent revelations of red ‘Sith Stormtroopers’ sent waves of excitement through the franchise fandom, swiftly followed by huge speculation. Not only about who and what they meant, but who they followed. There have also been consistent reports that Leia’s plans and Kylo Ren’s will both involve the Unknown Regions. Now a major leak claims to detail exactly what is out there and who is behind it all. WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS FROM HERE

It seems the red Sith Stormtroopers revealed on the Star Wars Show are not Kylo Ren’s at all. 

They are the contingency plan left by Emperor Palpatine for his expected ‘”resurrection” and they have been waiting in the uncharted and dangerous regions on the edges of the main Star Wars galaxy.

Chuck Wendig’s Aftermath books revealed Palpatine was obsessed with that region. The new leak reported by MakingStarWars.Net says the Emperor sent a vast army out there, equipped with ships which have the firepower to match a Death Star.

These red Sith Stormtroopers have survived in an incredibly hostile environment. They are deadlier and tougher than any army ever seen before. The report warns: “These guys are not cowards with armour like our heroes are used to dealing with.”

The leak says Kylo Ren discovers information about this hidden armada and armies and is determined to find them and take control. To do that he needs a “Wayfinder device” and goes in search of a creature known as an “oracle.”

This ties in with previous reports which described Kylo entering a cave to confront a terrifying creature, “an alien that looks like a spider with an infant’s face.”

All the time, Kylo is completely unaware he is actually caught in another’s web and his grandfather’s former master has no time for anyone interfering with his plans.

The reports says: “Palpatine is not so willing to share his toys with anyone. Palpatine’s contingency plans weren’t to make sure Darth Vader’s grandson received his inheritance.”

So Palpatine set up a staggering resurrection plan with an army more powerful than anything seen before? 

This would certainly explain how Kylo Ren will be forced to realise all he believed about his grandfather was a lie and Darth Sidious has been manipulating everyone even after his death. Fans are increasingly convinced this will be the catalyst that starts Kylo on his journey back to the Light Side as he teams up with Rey (after early skirmishes) and, faced with an unspeakable evil, the two of them attempt to finally bring balance to the Force.
