James Bond No Time To Die: Daniel Craig's 007 shares kiss with Léa Seydoux Madeleine Swann

The two Spectre stars have been shooting James Bond movie No Time To Die in Matera, Italy this past week. And the latest set snaps caught Daniel Craig and Léa Seydoux sharing a smooch. Clearly, their characters Bond and Madeleine Swann are still very much in love after they drove off in the Aston Martin DB5 at the end of Spectre. However, The Sun’s 007 source claims the love scene was pretty tame, in keeping with No Time To Die’s commitment to be appropriate for a post-Me Too age.

One on-looker on set said: “During one kiss they were so far apart you could have driven a truck between them.”

The pair were also spotted shooting scenes inside the Aston Martin DB5, which will be involved in a car chase.

Meanwhile, other set photos spotted Craig’s Bond caught in an explosion as he pays respect at a grave.

Fans have been speculating this is the resting place of his former lover Vesper Lynd, who drowned in Venice at the end of Casino Royale.

It’s been alleged that the scenes shot in Matera are part of the film’s pre-title scenes.

Apparently, the car chase takes place after Bond “pays tribute to an old flame”.

Meanwhile, a new poll conducted by Express.co.uk found overwhelming support for James Bond to remain male after Daniel Craig.

It was just over a week ago that both the incumbent 007 and Pierce Brosnan backed a female Bond after No Time To Die.

In our poll, we asked readers which of eight bookies’ favourite actress should play James Bond.

However, a ninth option was for the MI6 spy to remain being played by a man.

At the time of writing, the latter won the poll with 85 per cent of the vote.

While most popular female Bond choice was Atomic Blonde star Charlize Theron on 5 per cent.

When Craig backed a female Bond back in April at the start of filming his fifth outing, he said: “I think that ­everybody should be ­considered.

“Also for women and for African-Americans, there should be great parts anyway, across the board.”

While Brosnan made his views known at the Deauville Film Festival, where he was collecting a career honour.

He said: “Yes! I think we’ve watched the guys do it for the last 40 years, get out of the way, guys, and put a woman up there.I think it would be exhilarating, it would be exciting.”

No Time To Die will be released in UK cinemas on April 3, 2020.
