Breaking Bad movie El Camino out on Netflix? Cast, trailer, plot – all you need to know

Breaking Bad has been a huge deal since it aired on AMC from January 20, 2008, to September 29, 2013. The whole series is now on Netflix, along with the spin-off prequel series, Better Call Saul. And now the show is set to get its feature length debut on Netflix – here is everything we know so far.

Who is in the cast of El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie?

The main cast of the film is Aaron Paul, who will reprise his role as Jesse Pinkman, a former meth cook who once partnered with the drug kingpin, Walter White.

Charles Baker will reprise his role as Skinny Pete, Jesse’s best friend who served time in prison.

At present, it is not known who could appear alongside them, but one character who could not be seen is Bryan Cranston as Walter White, as he died on the floor of his home as the police came to find him.

Of course, some fans believe he could actually be alive, meaning he could reappear in a shock twist.

There could also be a reappearance of Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk,) a corrupt lawyer who helped Walt launder money, and now appears in a prequel series called Better Call Saul.

In the most recent series of Better Call Saul, fans watched Saul, or Jimmy McGill, destroying documents and taking money from the office of Saul Goodman at the end of Breaking Bad.

Of course, in series, fans know that Saul is now the manager of a Cinnabon store in Omaha, Nebraska, having taken on a new identity after the penultimate episode of Breaking Bad.

So there is a chance the two may have their paths cross once again.

There is a trailer for El Camino, which features Skinny Pete.

Pete is in a police interview room, telling officers he has no idea where Jesse Pinkman is.

He says he saw Jesse “in a cage” when he was forced to cook meth, and would never help the police put him back in a cage, suggesting Jesse may be on the run.

What is the plot of El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie?

Very little is know about the plot of El Camino at present.

What is known is that the story will centre on Jesse, and follow his life after the events of Breaking Bad.

The series ended with him escaping his captors, parting ways with Walt and speeding away, completely relieved that he was able together away from police.

Meanwhile Walt, who led him astray down a dark path, was found dead by police on the floor.

When is El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie out on Netflix?

The film airs on Netflix on October 11, and is available along with Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul to stream on the Netflix service.
