Sylvester Stallone bombshell: Rambo star breaks silence over Expendables 4

Sylvester Stallone’s latest film, Rambo: Last Blood, has not impressed critics or even the films own creator. Despite this, he is already talking about upcoming projects, including reuniting with Rocky IV star Dolph Lundgren. While Stallone may have plans, all fans want to know is if there will be an Expendables 4.

It turns out the Rocky star was not a fan of one of his co-stars, going so far as to say he “hated him” when they first met.

Of course, this hatred did not come from any argument or bickering, as they pair have gone on to continue working together in other films.

However, just the sight of Dolph Lundgren, best known for playing Ivan Drago in Rocky IV, made Stallone’s blood boil.

When asked by The Tonight Show’s Jimmy Fallon about Dolph, Stallone said: “I hated him.

“Let me see if I can relate to you – I wanted, in Rocky IV, I really wanted a big, horrible, vicious guy – I mean like a primitive – and I couldn’t find him.

“I mean, I could find giant wrestlers and football players and all that.

“And then all of a sudden the doors open, and smoke comes in and there’s light and there’s this thing with a proceeding hairline and shoulders this wide, like everything is perfect.

“I mean even his calves were coming though his clothing – like just muscular and the blue eyes are staring into my soul.

“He was like the real Terminator and I go, ‘I hate this frigging guy, I hate him. He’s just too good-looking, too perfect.’

“And if I loathe him, the world will because he was just, he’s not really, but he looks like something which is 1,000 years in the future.

“This is not a guy you see waiting on your table.”

Despite the green-eyed monster rearing its head while casting Rocky IV, Stallone must have grown in fondness for the He-Man actor as he also spoke out about doing another film with him in the not too distant future.

He added: “It looks like theres an idea we came up with called The International.

“It deals with the UN but it’s a different kind of UN – it’s a little hard core and there’s a lot of action in it.

“But it feeds into who Dolph is because he is international, and he’s incredibly intelligent.

“He’s gonna bring a different spin to the whole thing.”

Stallone is currently starring in Rambo: Last Blood, and the audience meets Vietnam War veteran John Rambo trying to find peach by raising horses on a ranch in Arizona, where he has developed a bond with a woman named Maria and her teen granddaughter Gabriela.

Rambo is forced out of retirement when a vicious Mexican cartel kidnaps Gabriela, forcing Rambo to cross the border and do what he does best.

Sadly, even the film’s creator was reportedly “embarrassed” to be involved with the new Rambo film, with David Morrell tweeting: ““I agree with these Rambo: Last Blood reviews.
