Carrie Symonds: Boris’ girlfriend stuns in animal print dress at wildlife conference
Carrie Symonds, girlfriend of current serving Prime Minister Boris Johnson and ex-political communications and PR chief for the Conservative Campaign Headquarters (CCHQ), was pictured wearing a blue and red “Whistles Jungle Cat” dress. Carrie donned the £179 Whistles blue and purple animal print frock. Designed with ‘pleat details and a fitted waist’ this piece gives off an elegant staple with a hint of attitude. The PR specialist cinched the dress in with a modest black and gold belt, which accentuated her her petite 5’6 frame.
Carrie paired the look with some classic high denier black tights and heeled lace-up black boots which look very similar to M&S’s Lace-up Ankle boots which retail for £45.
Opting for a natural glamorous look, Carrie spored some light brown eyeshadow, bronzed and rouged cheeks and a soft natural pink lip.
The Tory fashionista wore her strawberry blonde locks down with a soft and natural curl, finishing off the look, Carrie chose to wear heart shaped set-in gold, blue coloured metal earrings which framed her face and also complimented her dress.
Carrie is becoming well-known for shunning fast fashion in favour of more ethical clothing and, previously she had been pictured wearing “The Amelia” by British designer Isabelle Fox, which contains no microplastics or polyester.
The 31-year-old’s appearance at the 2019 Conservative Party conference in Manchester was met with positive comments online, and
yesterday she attended a conference meeting with members of the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW).
Taking to Twitter the PR specialist passionately wrote: “Really important we continue to tackle the illegal wildlife trade. Great to speak to IFAW Westminster just now. They do such fantastic work.”
In her first public appearance after moving to Downing Street, Carrie took the opportunity to address a warning to politicians of a “gigantic” climate crisis.
Her interaction with various charitable bodies has ingratiated herself with members of the public who appreciate her efforts
One Twitter user wrote: “I’m certainly not a fan of the Prime Minister, but this must be a difficult time for you. Thank you for the great work you’re doing, and I hope more and more people get involved with this important work.”
Another wrote: “Well done Carrie, working to end wildlife crime is so important right now. Looking forward to the Ban on Trophy Hunting imports, this is the UK and it’s time to end it.”
Kicking off the third day of the 2019 Tory annual conference, on today’s agenda the Conservative party will tackle “Forging Stronger Communities”, where they will discuss how Conservatives can champion local services, community, leadership and localism in conversation with Lord Hobbs and Iain Dale.
In the afternoon the Conservative party will be discussing in a panel “Toughening Up Our Criminal Justice System,” and the panel members include; Secretary of State for Justice and Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain, Solicitor General for England and Wales and Advocate General for Northern Ireland, Minister of State for Security and Minister of State for Prisons and Probation.
The Tory party conference could be overshadowed by moves to oust The Prime Minister at Westminster.
Boris is under current pressure over links with businesswoman, actress and model Jennifer Arcuri, while he was Mayor of London.
