Princess Beatrice wears recycled metallic dress for launch with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi

Princess Beatrice was spotted out last night with fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 36, for the first time since the engagement news broke the internet last week. Attending The Dior Sessions – book launch party at Dior Boutique in London, the royal was seen wearing a striking metallic dress – which she previously wore to Ellie Goulding and Caspar Jopling’s wedding back in August. 

Beatrice and Edoardo revealed they were getting married last Thursday after an 11-month romance. 

The Italian property developer beamed as he walked hand-in-hand with his wife-to-be on the way to the launch of a new book called The Dior Sessions at the Dior store in London. 

Beatrice’s sister Eugenie, 29, and their mother Sarah Ferguson, 59, were also spotted at the event, which celebrated the work of photographer Nikolai Von Bismarck, who is dating supermodel Kate Moss.

The stunning green ‘veneration tiered silk-blend lame’ dress is from trendy fashion label, The Vampire’s Wife and retails for £2,444.

Taking its name from the founder’s abandoned book project, The Vampire’s Wife offers an offbeat twist on retro glamour. This metallic green silk blend Veneration leaf-print midi dress features a round neck, a concealed rear zip fastening it has three-quarter length sleeves with puffy shoulders, flared cuffs and a ruffled hem.

Last night, the princess wore her trademark auburn locks down, with her fringe pushed to the side of her forehead, soft waves framed her face.

Opting for natural evening glamour, the Princess wore a light shade of brown eyeshadow, bronzed cheeks and a nude lip.

Keeping it simple, the Princess paired the outfit with some black suede Nicholas Kirkwood Leda Pumps which currently retail for £285.

Edoardo Capelli Mozzi opted for a navy blue suit and paired it with casual white trainers, contrasting his formal wear.

The Dior Sessions is a collection of celebrity portraits taken by Von Bismarck. All the men included are pictured wearing Dior pieces with the aim of capturing the designer brand under the direction of British designer Kim Jones

Other famous attendees at the event included Kate Moss, 45 with her beau, Nikolai von Bismarck, 35, Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, 39 and international model Naomi Campbell, 49.

For Beatrice and Eduardo’s engagement last week, the couple released a joint statement which said: “We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement.

“We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to actually be married.

“We share so many similar interests and values, and we know that this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.”

In widely-circulated engagement photographs, taken in the grounds of Windsor Great Park, Beatrice was shown wearing a £595 green floral Zimmerman dress, accentuating her Shain Leane, 3.5-carat engagement ring which has been estimated to have cost £100,000.

Beatrice’s mother Sarah, who was also attending The Dior Sessions event, said her and ex-husband Prince Andrew were “overjoyed” at the news.

In a touching tribute on social media, Sarah wrote: “I know what mother feels so I have tears of joy. I am so proud of this sensational news. Andrew and I are just the luckiest people ever to have two great sons-in-law.”
