Star Wars 9 trailer LEAK: Is THIS how Emperor Palpatine will enter The Rise of Skywalker?

WARNING POTENTIAL SPOILERS AHEAD. We only heard his voice in the first two trailers, but it looks like Star Wars fans will get the first glimpse of Palpatine in The Rise of Skywalker’s final trailer. According to Making Star Wars, an outlet known for reliable leaks, the third teaser for Star Wars 9 will see Kylo Ren meeting Palpatine. Allegedly, Kylo will come across an old man who is revealed to be the Emperor.

Meanwhile, this third and final Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker trailer could be just days away.

A recent tweet from the official Star Wars Twitter account has caused a fan frenzy.

The message commented on new character Babu Frik when a fan site said their pug would look great in the costume.

The Star Wars account tweeted: “14/10, this pup would make a great droidsmith!”

Fans have since been speculating that October 14 is the trailer release date for The Rise of Skywalker.

Certainly, the final trailer will arrive in the middle of October.

After all, the main teaser for The Force Awakens hit on October 19, 2015.

While The Last Jedi’s arrives at a similar time of October 9, 2017.

So surely The Rise of Skywalker’s will land somewhere around these dates. Certainly, the 14th is slap bang in the middle so could be the date after all.

Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker is released in UK cinemas on December 19, 2019.
