Jumanji The Next Level release date: When is Jumanji 3 out in cinemas?
Jumanji: The Next Level is the third in the Jumanji franchise, and second since the movie idea was rebooted in 2017. Starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, the film follows the teenagers as they return to the deadly jungle once again, but this time with unexpected company. But when is the film out in cinemas and when can fans get a chance to see it?
When is Jumanji: The Next Level out in cinemas?
Jumanji: The Next Level is out in cinemas on December 11.
This means it will get an even larger opening weekend of five days, which will likely help the film when it comes to its box office standing.
Needless to say, the movie is aiming to top the box office chart after its release, and it seems likely given its release day.
Who is in the cast of Jumanji: The Next Level?
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returns to his avatar, Dr Smolder Bravestone, while Kevin Hart is Mouse Finbar again.
Karen Gillan and Jack Black are also back as their avatars, Ruby Roundhouse and Dr Shelly Oberon, and Nick Jonas is back as Seaplane McDonough.
This time, they are joined by a new avatar, Ming Lightfoot, played by Awkwafina, and a new villain, Jurgen the Brutal, played by Game of Thrones’ Rory McCann.
Of course, bringing them all together is Rhys Darby as Nigel Billingsley, the non-player character who guides them through their journey.
In the real world, Danny DeVito and Danny Glover join the cast as Eddie Gilpin and Milo Walker.
Eddie is Spencer’s grandfather, who is staying with his grandson over the holidays, while Milo is his former colleague with whom he has been feuding for some time.
Alongside Eddie and Milo are the returning teenagers, with Morgan Turner as Martha, Ser’Darius Blain as Fridge, Alex Wolff as Spencer and Madison Iseman as Bethany.
These four are back, along with Colin Hanks as Alex Vreeke, and a surprise return for Bebe Neuwirth, who appeared in the original Jumanji as Nora, the aunt to the Shepherd children.
Along with them, John Ross Bowie appears as a spokesperson for Jurgen, Dania Ramirez is Gravestone’s ex—girlfriend.
As well as them, Zachary Tzegaegbe plays the young Bravestone in a flashback sequence led by Nigel.
Lamorne Morris, Lucy DeVito, Massi Furlan and Ashley Scott also appear in the film.
What age rating is Jumanji: The Next Level?
The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has given the film a 12A rating, meaning children under 12 must be supervised to watch the film.
Parents who are concerned about their children seeing the film may also feel it is a good idea to watch the film beforehand.
The movie has a running time of 123 minutes, which clocks in at just more than two hours.
With a fairly economical running time, parents may decide the best thing to do is to go and see the movie before joining their children, or ensuring they or whichever guardian accompanies the children are ready to remove them should anything surprising come up.
