I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner Jacqueline Jossa’s husband Dan Osborne has issued a public apology for his “mistakes” following allegations of cheating.

EastEnders star Jossa, who was crowned queen of the jungle earlier this month, told presenters Ant and Dec in her exit interview from camp that she had always been known as “Lauren from EastEnders, or a doormat”.

Her comment came amid reports about former reality TV star Osborne, the father of her two young daughters, Ella and Mia, while she was in the jungle.

During her time on the show, her campmate and Rak-Su star Myles Stephenson reportedly claimed to her that Osborne cheated on her with Stephenson’s ex-girlfriend.

Now, Osborne has addressed the allegations on social media.

Writing on Instagram and Twitter, he said: “So after weeks, months, years of constant articles and rumours, some true, some very untrue. I want to publicly say, I know I have made some mistakes, we all do as humans, but I’ve made some that have almost cost me my family.

“I have seriously learnt from these massively, so I want to publicly apologise to my beautiful wife and my family for the mistakes I’ve made.

“I am the luckiest man in the world to have what I have with Jacqueline and my three incredible children and I will spend the rest of my life being the best husband and dad that I can be.”

Osborne, who appeared in The Only Way Is Essex and also Celebrity Big Brother, added: “Jac, myself and our families are excited for the future, one filled with love and happiness together. We truly appreciate everyone that has supported us as a couple, we are ending this year stronger than ever.”

Jossa was named this year’s I’m A Celebrity winner ahead of runner-up Andy Whyment, who stars as Kirk in Coronation Street, and radio presenter Roman Kemp, who came third.

The star addressed her husband’s behaviour in an interview on ITV’s Lorraine show on Monday, saying he had “done wrong” but that she wanted to “restart their relationship”.

Earlier on Monday, Ofcom confirmed it would not be investigating complaints about bullying and animal welfare received throughout this year’s show.
