Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood – arriving on May 1

Quentin Tarantino’s new movie, which won Brad Pitt his first Oscar, is coming to Sky Cinema very soon.

It is Tarantino’s ninth movie, and follows TV star Rick Dalton (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) and his loyal stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) struggling to navigate an ever-changing industry in the run-up to the notorious Tate–LaBianca murders in the summer of 1969.

Of course, Tarantino’s version of history may not be quite expected, and true crime fans will get a view of Damon Herriman playing a young Charles Manson.

Charming – arriving May 2

A perfect movie for children, the team behind of Shrek have made a new musical animation from the fairytale world.

In Charming, Prince Philippe Charming (voiced by Wilmer Valderrama) is cursed to propose to every woman he meets, but things become more complicated when his father demands he find his true love by his 21st birthday or lose his claim to the throne.

Mega stars such as Demi Lovato, Sia, Avril Lavigne, Ashley Tisdale and John Cleese lend their voices to the movie.

Dora and the Lost City of Gold – arriving May 8

The second of the children’s movie picks, this is based on the Emmy award-winning educational television series, Dora the Explorer.

In the movie, we meet Dora (Isabela Moner) in her teenage years, as she leads her friends on a heart-warming adventure to save her parents and solve the mystery behind a lost city of gold.

The movie gained a huge number of positive reviews, and will unite the family around a character they know and love.

Alita: Battle Angel – arriving May 15

This live action/animation science fiction tale really split critics.

The film is based on various sources, such as the video game Battle Angel, and sees Rosa Salazar and Christoph Waltz lead an all-star cast.

In the movie, Alita (Rosa Salazar) wakes up in a foreign world with no memory of who she is, before kind-hearted cyberphysician Ido (Christoph Waltz) takes her in and takes her on a journey to explore the streets of Iron City in a bid to restore her lost memories.

Curious George: Royal Monkey (2019) – May 16
