When are pubs going to reopen?
Boris Johnson is expected to bring forward plans to reopen pubs, after Business Secretary Alok Sharma warned that 3.5million hospitality jobs are potentially at risk due to the lockdown.
Ministers are said to have marked June 22 as the opening date for pubs, providing customers can be served outside.
In addition, it has been suggested plans to reopen restaurants and theme parks on this date are also being discussed.
According to the Financial Times, Rishi Sunak is part of a group of ministers labelling themselves the “save summer six”, who are seeking to speed up the reopening of the UK economy.
