Deadpool 2 FINAL trailer: X-Force team members REVEALED plus more Thanos jokes
Pump the hate breaks Thanos.
Right away Ryan Reynolds’ Merc With A Mouth is taking the mick out of Cable star Brolin, for playing Thanos in Avengers Infinity War.
And it’s not the only meta joke in the final Deadpool 2 trailer from Marvel.
Some wording pops up referencing Hugh Jackman’s Logan with: “From the studio that killed Wolverine.”
But the best line has to be Deadpool’s response to Cable’s lines, taking a jab at the DC Extended Universe.
Wade Wilson says: “You’re so dark. Are you sure you’re not from the DC universe?” A line that’s particularly amusing as Brolin almost played Batman in the DCEU.
Jokes aside, the Deadpool 2 trailer gives a closer look at the X-Force team.
First up Terry Crews is introduced as Bedlam, who can detect brainwaves and electrical energy. Then there’s Shatterstar, who heals like Deadpool but can also create teleportation portals with his swords.
Followed by Domino, who’s just “lucky” and last and certainly not least, Peter who…has no powers but “just saw the ad.”
An official description reads: “Marvel’s motormouth mercenary is back!
“Bigger, better and occasionally more pantless than ever before.
“When a super soldier arrives on a murderous mission, Deadpool is forced to think about friendship, family and what it really means to be a hero – all while kicking 50 shades of ass. Because, sometimes, to do the right thing you need to fight dirty.”
Deadpool 2 is released in UK cinemas on May 15, 2018.
