Queen Letizia teases a hint of skin in intricate lace coat for award ceremony in Spain

Queen Letizia of Spain, 45, stepped out in an powder blue outfit in Madrid today, joining her husband King Felipe, 50.

The duo looked eery inch the power couple in their attire, continuing with their united front after embarrassing footage of an incident between Letizia of Queen Sofia, her mother-in-law, went viral.

Letizia looked elegant in a simple blue dress with matching summer coat.

The mum-of-two’s coat was nipped in at the waist, and featured heavily detailed lace arms, her skin flashing through underneath.

The lace pattern continued on the sides of the coat, which closed with seven small buttons at the middle.

Continuing the muted colour scheme, Letizia carried a small grey clutch in one hand.

On her feet, she sported a pair of pointed cross-strap heels.

Unlike other royalty around the world, Letizia is not afraid of bare legs, and opted not to wear tights again today.

A pair of extravagant earrings could be seen in Letizia’s ears.

The Queen of Spain has been busy this month, making several high profile appearances in her home country.

Earlier this week, she showed off her slim frame in a fitted black jumpsuit. The 45-year-old beauty handed out an award at the Literature awards ‘Barco de Vapor’ at ‘Casa de Correos’.

It is a field somewhat familiar to Letizia as she worked as a journalist before she married into the Spanish royal family.

Letizia’s jumpsuit had a tuxedo style fastening and front with lapels.

It had a satin belt around the stomach, which accentuated the mother-of-two’s tiny waist.

Letizia added dark eye make-up to the look and a berry red lip.

On Tuesday, Letizia looked every inch the femme fatale in her chosen outfit for a reception at the Pardo Palace in Madrid.

Letizia wore a navy skirt with feather details.

The mother-of-two added a blue co-ordinated top with the same feather details on the sleeves.

She added black patent shoes with an eye-wateringly high heel and a black clutch bag.

Sultry black eyeliner, peach blusher and dangling gold earrings completed the look.
