Avengers Infinity War: Avengers 4 title LEAK? ‘I'm 100 per cent certain it's called’ WHAT?

WARNING SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS INFINITY WAR AHEAD

When the Marvel epic was announced, Avengers 4 was simply called Avengers Infinity War Part 2.

However its real title now remains a mystery, with directors the Russo Brothers having teased it’s a very different movie and not just the second half of the film.

Expected to be a spoiler fans have been speculating over the true title, but now an alleged leak claims to know the truth.

According to Cosmic Book News, Avengers 4 is called Avengers: Endgame.

The outline claims: “I can now say with 100% per cent certainty that Avengers: Endgame is the title for Avengers 4 (well, assuming they don’t change it now).

“I have been provided further information on Avengers: Endgame and the original source of the information. 

“It is someone who does work for Disney. I know his/her name and job title, and, of course, I shall say no more and won’t reveal the person’s identity.”

So what’s in the name? Well during the third act of Avengers Infinity War, Thanos was about to kill Iron Man on Titan.

However Doctor Strange made a bargain, although not with Dormammu this time. He offered Thanos the Time Stone in exchange for Tony Stark’s life.

Thanos agreed, took the Infinity Stone and used the Space Stone to head to Wakanda, where he obtained the Mind Stone from Vision’s head before clicking his fingers and killing half the universe – ouch.

Once Thanos disappeared Iron Man rightly asked Doctor Strange, “Why would you do a thing like that?”

Doctor Strange replied: “We’re in the endgame now.”

Fans will remember earlier in the film the Sorcerer Supreme used the Time Stone to view over 14 million possible future outcomes of the Infinity War.

When Stark asked him how many they won, Doctor Strange paused before saying, “One.”

Moving forward again to when Thanos clicked his fingers, half the universe turned to ash including Doctor Strange.

Just before he disappeared Doctor Strange said: “It was the only way.”

It’s clear the Sorcerer Supreme knows exactly what he’s doing to make sure the one possible future victory for the Avengers happens.

Therefore Avengers 4, called Endgame or not, will play out that endgame – one that looks certain to include time travel and/or trips through the multiverse to reverse Thanos’ genocide.

Avengers 4 is released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
