Princess Charlotte birthday today: Sweetest pictures as royal toddler turns 3 

Princess Charlotte of Cambridge captured the hearts of the nation recently when she gave a royal wave to the waiting crowd outside the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s hospital in Paddington, where her mum, Kate Middleton, had just given birth to her baby brother Prince Louis.

Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born at 8.34am on May 2, 2015 at the same hospital in London, weighing 8lb 3oz.

The princess is the second child of Kate Middleton, 36, and Prince William, 35, and fourth in line to the British royal throne.

Her Royal Highness celebrates her birthday this year with big brother Prince George, 4, and the newest addition to the family, Prince Louis, who was born on April, 23.
