Brigitte Macron flaunts endless legs as she gets friendly with Angela Merkel in Germany

Brigitte Macron, the wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, came face to face to German leader Angela Merkel, 63, today.

The two women put on a friendly display as they posed in front of the cameras, happily chatting to one another.

Brigitte, a former school teacher, wore a pretty and chic skirt suit for the event.

The pale pink two piece appeared to have been made from a delicate fleece.

The French-woman flaunted long and tanned legs, and added pink stilettos with a silver toe to the look.

Her hair was coiffed in her usual bouncy blonde bob and she wore heavy dark make-up.

The French First Lady clutched a small black mini bag with a metallic silver design.

Brigitte smiled as she posed alongside her husband, who wore a navy suit with a navy tie.

Angela Merkel appeared to have been given the pink memo, and she wore a jacket in the summery hue with black trousers.

The meeting took place today for the Charlemagne Prize ceremony at the Cathedral in Aachen, Germany.

Macron was named to receive the prestigious Charlemagne Prize.

The prize has been handed out since 1950 to people who contributed to the unity of Europe and is given by the German city of Aachen.

The Frech President was greeted by Bishop Helmut Dieser, Aachens Mayor Marcel Philipp and the dean of the cathedral Manfred von Holtum as they arrived to attend mass at the stunning religious building.

Later in the day Macron prosed wearing the Charlemagne prize, a large silver disk hung around his neck.

Brigitte Macron and Melania Trump, 47, recently met when the French President visited the US.

She later had a lot to say about Donald Trump’s former-model wife.

The former school teacher added: “She can’t even open a window at the White House. She can’t go outside.”

Melania and Brigitte both stunned in French designs at a state dinner at the White House. 

President Trump and the first lady hosted Emmanuel and his wife, Brigitte, for the first state visit of the Trump administration, in the State Dinning room during their stay.

In a honour of her guests Melania wowed in a stunning silver gown by French designer Chanel.
