Deadpool 2 FIRST REACTIONS: ‘FUNNIER than original, most VIOLENT movie since Kill Bill’

Deadpool 2 is the perfect sequel. Doubles down on everything that fans love about the original, and fixes some of that film’s issues. Huge, huge laughs that play the audience like a fiddle. Ryan Reynolds destroys as Wade. Great action, fantastic comic nods. A killer ride!

So I liked Deadpool 2 more than the first movie. I think it’s more ambitious, and it pays off. There’s plenty of humour, action & drama — and the movie balances it well. Cable and Domino are standouts (I love them and I can’t wait for X-Force). Plus there are some FUN surprises.

I didn’t absolutely love the first Deadpool, but man, Deadpool 2 does the trick for me. Hilarious when it needs to be, surprisingly touching when it needs be (not in that way, gross), and is kinda the best X-Men-universe flick in forever. Also: DOMINO RULEZ.

Deadpool 2 is no doubt the most violent major release since Kill Bill Volume 1. It’s also funnier than the first and has me genuinely excited for a sequel. Oh and it features a ton of Canada jokes, so of course I loved it.
