Kate Middleton, 36, was spotted in Kensington Palace gardens with Prince Louis and Prince Charlotte, two, in recent days.

The mother-of-three looked “thin as a pin” according to an expert who spotted the Duchess of Cambridge in the grounds of the royal home.

Prince Louis was born less than a month ago on 23 April.

However, you wouldn’t know it, according to the TV guest.

Royal expert Katie Nicholls told Lorraine: “I was in Kensington Palace the other day outside the palace doing some broadcasting.

“I was crossing the road and as I went into the palace I thought ‘I recognise that dress’.

“It was the Hobbs checked dress and I was like ‘Oh that’s the Duchess of Cambridge.’”

The royal was managing to go incognito in the gardens by using an old-school Hollywood trick.

Katie added: “She had no blow dry, straight hair, big sunglasses and she was pushing Louis in the pram and she had little Charlotte with her and she looked amazing.”

Sporty Kate was back to her usual slim self, according to Katie.

“No one recognised her, there were no paps, no one following her,” she added.

“She was in great form, she was thin as pin, she’s clearly bounced back.”

Kate Middleton’s children Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two, will be Meghan Markle’s bridesmaids.

What role is Kate Middleton playing in the royal wedding

Kate Middleton will not be a bridesmaid, despite the apparent friendship between her and Meghan.

The sight of the Duchess of Cambridge filling the maid of honour rule would be “unbecoming”, said William Hanson, a British etiquette expert.

What time is the royal wedding

The royal wedding service beings at midday, but the morning will be filled with a host of activity.

As well as news stations providing coverage all morning, the members of the Royal Family will start to arrive at 11:20am.

Guests will arrive and take their seating in the chapel via the South Door at 9:30am.
