Sarah Ferguson, 58, also known as Fergie, certainly turned heads when she entered the royal wedding of Meghan Markle, 36, and Prince Harry, 33, last Saturday.

The former royal and aunt to Prince Harry was nonetheless a surprise invitee to the occasion.

This was because she previously did not receive an invitation to Kate Middleton and Prince William’s 2011 wedding.

However, the Duchess of York will increasingly be in the public eye in the coming months, as she prepares for the wedding day of her daughter Princess Eugenie, 28.

But what did the stunning redhead choose to wear for her powerful comeback outfit?

She wore a navy dress with pink piping by Emma Louise Design, a Windsor based designer famous for her wedding dress and bridesmaid designs.

The bespoke design is believed to be costly – with starting prices between £900 and £2,500, according to the website.

The figure hugging dress flattered Sarah’s curvaceous form as she entered St. George’s Chapel.

The skirt was cut above the knee, which showed off Sarah’s long slim calves and knees.

The dress was low cut, showing off Sarah’s chest, neck and a hint of cleavage.

She paired the look with a navy fascinator style hat by Jess Collett.

The navy and black mesh headpiece, known as the Ava Gardner style, costs £720.

Her choice of hat designer showed she was ready to be back in royal circles.

Pippa Middleton, 35, the sister of Kate Middleton, opted for the same designer.

Finally, the Duchess of York wore a pair of navy heels to top off her outfit.

An identical pair from Gianvito Rossi, known as the 105 suede pumps, cost £470.

This brings her total outfit cost to a whopping £2,140, at a modest estimate.
