Avengers: Infinity War blu-ray release date: When is Avengers out on blue ray and DVD?

The latest adventures of our favourite Marvel superheroes have both excited and devastated fans in equal measure. 

Our heroes have joined together in order to fight the mad Titan that is Thanos, linking Guardians of the Galaxy, Dr Strange, Black Panther and Avengers characters in one epic battle the Marvel Cinematic Universe has never seen before.

Thanos’ ultimate goal is to collect all six infinity stones, in order to make himself the most powerful being in the universe. 

Anyone who stands in Thanos’ way is subject to his mammoth strength and as he begins to collect the stones, he seems to reach unbeatable levels. 

The heroes in the MCU are working to prevent Thanos from wiping out half of all life, a move which the supervillain says will restore balance to an overpopulated universe.

Iron Man, Scarlet Witch, Thor, Starlord and Dr Strange all take turns battling the rageful Titan.

Avengers: Infinity War has achieved a staggering £64.1m during its 24 day cinema run so far, making it the 13th biggest film of all time at the UK box office. 

When will Avengers: Infinity War be released on Blu-ray and DVD?

For those who would like to own Infinity War forever, Marvel has already announced dates for the film’s release onto DVD and Blu-ray.

Set to be released for digital download on July 31, fans can own the physical copy on DVD, Blu-Ray or 4K Ultra HD on August 14.

Target in the US is releasing a special edition 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray copy, complete with a 40-page filmmaker gallery.

As well as Target, Best Buy will have an exclusive collectible 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray steelbook, which includes a disc called Marvel Studios: The First Ten Year, with behind the scenes features. 

These dates are however for Region 1 US audience, meaning fans in the UK will have to wait until Region 2 release dates are revealed.

Those who have seen the film will be clamoring to see the next installment, Avengers 4, which will continue on from the cliffhanger in Infinity War. 

Avengers 4 is due to be released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
