Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, laughs with Meghan Markle at Prince Charles' birthday

Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, 70, laughed and joked with Meghan Markle, 36, the new Duchess of Sussex, as the duo attended a birthday event for Prince Charles today.

Along with Prince Harry, 33, the two women were at Buckingham Palace for The Prince of Wales’ 70th Birthday Patronage Celebration.

Prince Charles’ wife wore bold mint green and white for the event, making sure to stand out in the crowd.

Her green coat featured white embroidery on the edges, and a matching dress could be seen underneath.

She wore a large white har with white feathers to contrast the coat, the brim of which came up in a side angle.

Camilla carried a snakeskin clutch bag in her arm, and a pair of white gloves in her hand.

She completed the look with a paor of nude low-heeled shoes.

As always with Camilla, jewellery was a strong focus of her outfit.

Today, she chose a pair of large pearl and diamond earrings and a four strand pearl necklace.

The necklace was held together by a large diamond and smaller pearl disc at the centre.

While the Duchess of Cornwall wore a vibrant colour, Meghan, the new Duchess of Sussex, chose a romantic nude-coloured outfit.

Newlywed Meghan is clearly still on a high after her wedding to Prince Harry this Saturday, and wore some of her bridal attire to Buckingham Palace.

Her Cartier wedding earrings were seen twinkling in her ears, and her hair was also reminiscent of her special day, as she wore it in a low bun similar to the style she chose for her nuptials.

Meghan’s nude-coloured Goat dress, £590, had romantic, sheer arms with a raw, unfinished hem.

The rest of the dress, named the Flavia, was quite simple, and came down passed her knees.

She teamed this with a wide brimmed hat by royal favourite Philip Treacy, which she wore to the side.

Prince Harry’s new wife held a small square clutch bag in her hand, and her engagement ring could be seen sparkling on her hand.

A small silver bracelet with gold clasp finished her jewellery.

She completed the look with a pair of peach stiletto heels, and she appeared to be wearing sheer tights – something many of the Royal women do to add modesty to their outfits.

Meghan’s nails were painted in a sleek nude colour to tie-in with her outfit.
