Queen Letizia of Spain channels Meghan Markle with messy bun hair – plus £4,500 outfit

Queen Letizia, 45, channelled the newest British royal, Meghan Markle, 36, on a public appearance this weekend.

She wore her shoulder length brunette locks in a chic low bun, in the style of Meghan Markle, 36.

She chose the style to attend an Armed Forces Day event in Logrono, Spain.

Just like Meghan’s trademark hair, Queen Letizia’s style had strands visibly escaping to frame her face.

The Meghan-inspired look was a step away from Letizia’s usual hairstyle.

Letizia generally wears her brunette locks down and straight, with slight movement at the ends.

Much like Meghan, Queen Letizia had a career in television before she married into royalty upon her wedding to King Felipe, 50.

Queen Letizia was once a news anchor on CNN, while Meghan was an actress most famous for starring as Rachel Zane in Suits.

However, both women have stepped away from their television careers as they have married into royalty.

The stylish Spanish royal also showed off her slim legs in a cropped pink coat and stiletto heels.

Queen Letizia’s pink coat is from the Carolina Herrera pre fall 2018 collection.

Carolina Herrera is one of Queen Letizia’s preferred designers, and she has been pictured in the designer’s clothes on a number of occasions.

While Queen Letizia’s coat is unavailable to buy, a similar one from the collection costs $4,990 (£4,368).

Her heels are by designer Lodi, with a similar pair retailing for £117 on the website.

Last week, Queen Letizia wore a low cut white top which showed off her tanned chest.

The gorgeous royal, who is Queen of Spain, looked relaxed and chic in her stylish get up.

She was dressed to meet Haiti’s President Jovenal Moise and his wife First Lady Martine Moise for lunch.

Her low cut wrap style white top, which wrapped around her waist, flattered Letizia’s bust.

She also showed off a tasteful hint of tanned chest in the sleeveless top.

Letizia showed off slim, toned arms in the top which defied her years.

She paired her low cut top with an elegant midi length floaty skirt which nipped in at the waist.
