Dakota Johnson dances in CHILLING trailer for first movie since Fifty Shades Freed (WATCH)

The actress, 28, plays a dancer in the Luca Guadagnino-directed remake, alongside Chloe Grace Moretz and Tilda Swinton.

She is Susie Bannion, who travels to Europe to learn in a renowned dance academy.

But when a series of horrific murders ensue, she learns just how dark the school is.

Early whispers suggest the movie is absolutely horrifying, and the tense trailer certainly makes it look like it’ll be a rough ride.

Scenes were shown of the film at CinemaCon in April, and caused quite the stir on social media.

“It’s one of the most f**ked up things I’ve ever seen at #CinemaCon,” Collider’s Steven Weintraub tweeted.

“People at my table turned away from the screen. All I can say is it’s beyond extreme and gross and I need to see more.”

Peter Sciretta posted: “First clip from Suspiria invokes a dancer being thrown around like a rag doll telekinetically in a mirrored rehearsal space, bones breaking, becoming a contorted mess.

“Very gruesome and hard to watch. This film will make most people feel uneasy. #CinemaCon.”

Avery Thompson tweeted: “Luca Guadagnino’s #Suspiria is f**king terrifying, but I couldn’t look away.

“Dakota Johnson = WHOA. You’ve never seen a movie like this. #CinemaCon.”

The Oscar Predictor quipped: “#Suspiria looks like Black Swan on steroids. And that’s a compliment.”

Johnson has made no secret of the impact the filming process had on her wellbeing, telling Elle magazine it “f**ked me up so much I needed therapy”.

Suspiria is out later this year.
