Avengers 4 concept art LEAK? Captain Marvel, Ant-Man and Hawkeye join surviving Avengers

WARNING SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS INFINITY WAR AND AVENGERS 4 AHEAD

After Thanos snapped his fingers half the universe turned to ash, leaving behind only a handful of superheroes.

Original Avengers Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hulk and Black Widow survived, as did War Machine and two Guardians of the Galaxy – Rocket and Nebula.

Following the genocide of Marvel‘s Avengers Infinity War, it’s now up to them to bring back the other in Avengers 4.

Very little is known about next year’s sequel, however what appears to be official concept art for Avengers 4 has leaked.

The main image features those survivors already mentioned, but also with Hawkeye and Ant-Man who were absent from Infinity War.

They’re joined by Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, who Nick Fury sent a distress call to during the end credits scene of the last movie.

Assuming this artwork is the real deal, there are a few interesting (not to mention revealing) details within.

Firstly Cap has shaved his beard, cut his hair and is back in his usual uniform, implying he’s ditched being Nomad.

And let’s not forget the fact he and Iron Man are back in the same team, so it looks like they’ve put their Civil War differences aside for the sake of saving the universe.

Next up Hulk is wearing tight fitting clothes – actual clothes – suggesting he will (as rumoured) become Professor Hulk; a hybrid of Bruce Banner and the Hulk.

Meanwhile both Black Widow and Hawkeye have different haircuts.

Hawkeye also appears to have adopted – or is in the process of adopting – his Ronin identity, as leaked in set photos from last year.

Lastly where the Avengers are is something of a mystery. It could be the Quantum Realm, or perhaps somewhere off Earth like Titan.

Or their location could just be a cool background for the sake of the concept art.

Avengers 4 is released in UK cinemas on April 26, 2019.
