Avengers: Ant-Man and the Wasp villain LEAKED plus Avengers 4 reveal?

Originally one of the smaller, lighter Marvel movies, Ant-Man suddenly just got a lot bigger.

Lame jokes aside, Paul Rudd’s diminutive hero has been placed front and centre between the releases on Infinity War and Avengers 4.

It is clear that whatever happens in Ant-Man and the Wasp, followed by Captain Marvel next February, will link directly into the Avengers attempts to reverse The Smnap and defeat Thanos.

The Wasp herself, aka actress Evengeline Lilly, may have just let slip a huge leak about the movie’s villain and her own involvement in Avengers 4.

Ant-Man and the Wasp dosn’t hit UK cinemas until August, although it is out almost a month earlier in the US.

Spoilers will be hard to avoid over here, but one of the stars has already started, it seems.

Lilly was posting about the current debate in the US over net neutrality when she referenced Thanos and Goliath.

Fans have been eagerly hoping teh second woudl appear ever since the GOLIATH project was mentioned in the first film. 

Lilly posted to instagram: “For those of you who are confused – we had to win the senate before we could tackle the house. We DID win the senate and that was INCREDIBLE, now let’s do it all over again.

“That was Goliath, now we’re facing Thanos. Don’t let them censor and throttle us. Let’s get loud. Let’s win again. #netneutrality”

They could just be metaphors but the reference to Thanos means Goliath is almost certainly also appearing very soon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ghost is already confirmed as the main villain in Ant-Man 2.

One fan excitedly replied: “So Goliath (aka Laurence Fishburne) is the big baddy for this movie?”

Project GOLIATH features in teh comics as Hank Pym’s experiments with the Pym Particles to make objects much larger. There is also a character called Goliath, who is played at variosu times by heroes like Hank Pym and Clint Barton.

Naturally Lilly has neither confirmed nor denied any such thing. If she is drawing parallels with her recent movie work, it aso seems to imply she will be present in Avengers 4 to face Thanos.

Her absence from recent leaked artwork led fans to speculate she may die in The Snap, since Ant-Man 2 takes place chronologically before Infinity War. Disd she just confirm she will live to fight Thanos in 2019?
