Jurassic World 2 Fallen Kingdom end credits scene EXPLAINED: Jurassic World 3 teaser

WARNING SPOILERS FOR JURASSIC WORLD FALLEN KINGDOM AHEAD

Most major blockbusters seem to have an end credits scene these days now that Marvel have made it the norm and Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom is no exception.

Universal’s latest dinosaur adventure does have one extra scene right at the end of the credits, although it’s not really worth waiting for.

The brief clip showed a couple of pterodactyls flying around what appears to be the top of a lighthouse.

But as the camera zooms out it becomes evident it’s actually the Eiffel Tower.

Have the escaped prehistoric creatures managed to fly all the way to France?

No not quite, because when the shot backs out even further it becomes evident it’s the other Eiffel Tower.

You know, the half scale one on the strip at Paris Las Vegas, Nevada.

While the scene certainly teases Jurassic World 3, which is released in 2021 with Colin Trevorrow back as director, it didn’t reveal anything that hadn’t already been explained in the closing scenes of the movie.

At end of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. Claire and Owen had decided to free the dinosaurs imprisoned at Lockwood’s mansion.

The result? What Jeff Goldblum’s Dr Ian Malcolm calls a new era. Summed up in proper cheesy fashion as “a Jurassic World.”

So whatever Jurassic World 3 will be sounds like a mash-up of The Flintstones and the Walking Dead.

Seeing the US getting to grips with co-existing alongside dinosaurs, which presumably will go drastically wrong at some point.
