Queen Letizia channels Jackie Kennedy in monochrome as she chairs meeting in Madrid
Having just returned from a whittling trip to Brussels, Queen Letizia, 45, was in Madrid today chairing a meeting of the Residence of Students’ board of trustees.
Channeling 60s fashion icon Jackie Kennedy, Letitia opted for a black and whit monochrome ensemble, befitting of the academic occasion.
Smiling broadly and in the best of spirits, the Spanish Queen brought a touch of class and elegance to the trustees’ meeting.
After a busy couple of weeks including trips to Belgium, Geneva and the Caribbean, Letizia looked relaxed, wearing a checkered black and white short-sleeved swing top, made of a thick woollen material.
Cut to just above the hips, the wide top hung delicately from her slim figure, with a more demure crew cut neckline.
Sticking to the black and white colour scheme, the 45-year-old wore stylish pair of black, wide-leg trousers.
Known for her fashion-forward sense of style, the flowing trousers were cut to just above the ankles, and featured silver detailing along the outer sides.
The silver buttons added a touch of glamour to the otherwise more conservative look.
On her feet, Letizia complemented the black and white look with a simple pair of sky-high pointed toe stilettos.
The enviable shoes were tuxedo print, with a cute collar-like print around the toes.
