Meghan Markle wears pink Prada with Queen at Buckingham Palace reception
Meghan Markle and the Queen appeared in public again today.
Kensington Palace revealed the two would be out together on the royal website.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle joined Her Majesty, 92, at a Reception for The Queen’s Young Leaders at Buckingham Palace.
The Queen’s Young Leaders is a programme to “find exceptional young people” from across the Commonwealth.
The website for the charitable organisation states: “The Programme is now in its fourth and final year and has formed a unique community of 240 influential change-makers, who represent 53 Commonwealth countries.”
Meghan wore a powder pink dress much like the one she donned for the Trooping the Colour.
The dress, which a 50s twist, had large buttons and a belt in a matching hue to the dress.
Meghan wore black sling back heels with a bow.
Meghan broke with her current habit of constantly wearing Givenchy, this time opting for an Italian designer. The former-actress wore Prada.
Her hair was parted in the middle and glossy, aping a style popular with Kate Middleton.
She also carried a matching black clutch bag, another staple of Kate’s wardrobe.
Meghan’s dress is reported to be a custom number, while her bag is the Prada Convertible Leather Clutch.
The bag costs a whopping £1,918.
Meghan wore the bag before to an awards ceremony with Prince Harry before her wedding.
The Duchess wore the Aquazzura Deneuve Black Suede Shoes, which cost £470.
It was recently revealed that the Queen have given Meghan Markle a key job at the event.
She and Harry welcomed those in the Queen’s Young Leaders programme to Buckingham Palace tonight.
Meghan has joined Harry as a youth ambassador for the Commonwealth.
The Duke of Sussex said he was “hugely optimistic” about the programme’s future and for the couple to set an example for future Commonwealth generations to come.
He said: “I have really enjoyed meeting so many of them over the past four years and their passion and understanding always leaves me hugely optimistic about the future.
“I have seen time and time again that today’s generation understands something very important: that to tackle a big issue, you need to focus on the root causes of the challenge and not its symptoms.
“The Queen’s Young Leaders are having an incredible impact in their respective countries because they have adopted this mindset.”
Meghan Markle and the Queen had their first solo trip together this month, and the pair headed to Cheshire.
It came less than a month after her wedding to Harry, while Kate Middleton waited almost a year for the same honour.
A body language expert analysed Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s first trips with the Queen and gave her insight into their relationships.
