Avengers Infinity War digital and Blu-ray release date: Plus these FOUR deleted scenes

Avengers 3 triumphed at the box office, even as it ripped Marvel fans’ hearts from the chests.

The upcoming home entertainment packages will include four deleted scenes, including one featuring the Mad Titan, his adopted daughter and the one Infinity Stone which could hold the key to everything.

Disney has oficially confirmed the four scenes with titles and brief descriptions for each one.

Two sound fun, one sounds harrowing and one sounds really harrowing.

The Avengers Infinity War digital, Blu-ray, DVD and Ultra 4K HD release dates are coming, just like the big purple baddie but with hopefully less loss of life across the universe.

Avengers: Infinity War comes out on digital HD on July 31 and is out on Blu-ray two weeks later on August 14, 2018.

The Marvel man who created Thanos, Jim Starlin, told a panel at the Las Vegas Comic Con there is an extra 30 minutes of footage, centred on Thanos’ backstory but there is no evidence that the extra footage was ever filmed. Even the one Thanos deleted scene listed doesn’t concern his own back story.

1. Hunt for the Mind Stone: On a darkened street, Wanda Maximoff and the wounded Vision attempt to hide from Thanos’ brutal allies.

This sounds like the most straight-forward extra footage, expanding the nerve-shredding cat-and-mouse scee in Edinburgh where the Black Order hunt the two Avengers. 

2. Happy Knows Best: Tony and Pepper spar over the details of their upcoming wedding – until a hassled Happy Hogan pulls up with an urgent request.

Fans are always happy for more Happy and Jon Favreau’s gloomy sidekick presumably interrupts that scene in the park just before Doctor Strange arrives. But what could he need?

3. The Guardians Get Their Groove Back: Official Description: As Peter Quill and Drax quarrel over their failed mission to Knowhere, Mantis interrupts with news.

This will give more chance to see Peter’s devastation over failing to protect Gamora from Thanos. What has Mantis seen or sensed, though?

4. A Father’s Choice: Thanos confronts Gamora with a vision from her past – and with lying to him about the Soul Stone.

This is the most eagerly-awaited. What will Thanos show his ‘daughter?” Someting terrible she has done, or something she did not know of try to forget about her childhood? Whether it happens on his ship or later on Vormir, it can only add to the tremendous emotional punch their relationship packed for audiences.
