Melania Trump meets the Queen in sharp white skirt suit and chic updo with Donald Trump

Melania Trump, 48, met the Queen at Windsor Castle today, joining her husband Donald Trump, 82.

The First Lady, a former model, towered over Her Majesty in a white skirt suit and killer heels.

Mum-of-one Melania wore a white jacket with an unusual high neck collar which was belted at the waist with a skinny black leather belt.

A matching white pencil skirt, which fell below her knees, completed the look.

As usual, Melania added inches to her frame in a pair of nude stilettos.

As her outfit was so striking, Melania kept her jewellery simple, wearing only her engagement ring and a pair of diamond earrings.

Melania wore her long hair in a chignon, which is not a style she often chooses.

Adding a modern edge, she wore tendrils of hair loose, framing her face.

Keeping her makeup classic, Melania stuck to her favourite look of heavy mascara and a light pink lipstick.

One thing Melania didn’t appear to be wearing was sheer tights – something all women of the Royal Family must wear for public engagements, as this is preferred by the Queen.

Earlier today, Melania made a nod to British fashion in a Victoria Beckham dress.

The First Lady opted for the tailored striped midi dress, reminiscent of a Piet Mondrian painting, as she spent time with Theresa May’s husband Philip.

Colours on the bright dress included burgundy, cream, orange and navy blue, a bold choice for Melania, who usually avoids print.

The floating dress came to just below her knees, with the stripes floating out from the waist and swirling around her in the breeze.

Cinched in at the waist it showed off her model frame, also being tight-fitted around the bust.

Last night the First Lady attended a grand black tie dinner at Blenheim Palace with Theresa May and a host of British politicians and business leaders.

She wore a glamorous buttercup yellow J Mendel gown, £5000, for her first night in the UK.

It was perfect for a night at a Palace, and the dress featured yards of yellow chiffon.

A criss-cross design came off her shoulders, with a cape hanging from the back of the dress. A pair of court shoes in matching yellow could be seen peeping out underneath the hem of her gown.

The Trump duo have another full day in the UK ahead, and will be travelling to Scotland tomorrow before flying over to Finland on Sunday.
