Avengers Infinity War deaths: 'These pictures PROVE Black Panther is alive in Avengers 4'?

The man in Black is back. Or is he?

After the phenomenal Black Panther movie roared to a kingly box office triumph earlier tihs year, he seemed set to be one of the brightest new stars of th Marvel Cinematic Universe.

So it really put the big cat among the pidgeons when he crumbled to dust in front of his devoted general, and horrified audiences in cinemas around the world.

After the devastating ending of Avengers 3, fans have rushed back to set pictures released last year when Avengers 4 was completing principal photography for clues to who will be coming back and how.

There has been much renewed excitement over a series of pictures of Chadwick Boseman dressed as T’Challa.

The full range of images, including the one below, was released last October and now some sites and fan posts are using them to show this hero will definitely somehow return from The Snap.

However fans need to look more closely. The gallery, which also includes T’Challa’s sister Shuri (Letitia Wright), show scenes set in a derelict slum next to a chain-link fence.

Sound familiar?

True Marvel fans should know that they have seen all this before.

This is not a new scene.

It is actually the final scene from the Black Panther movie when the royal siblings go back to the site of their uncle’s death and T’Challa reveals he will be opening a science and education center to reinvigorate the district and give hope to disadvantaged youth.

Unfortunately in all the excitement last year and teh sudden desperation for answers this year, some images have been attriburted to the wrong film simply because Marvel was shooting four major MCU blockbusters at the same time.

Marvel are so prolific that they were filming Avengers 3 and 4 as well as Black Panther, and Ant-Man and the Wasp scenes simultaneously.

Mix-ups occured where picture agencies and eager sites have confused which images come from which movies.

Sadly, while the character is expected to be back somehow for future MCU projects, there is still no confirmation that Black Panther will be taking any major role in Avengers 4.
