Ivanka Trump: Donald daughter looks frazzled in pink suit as she holds cabinet meeting

Ivanka Trump made a speech today during a cabinet meeting held in the Cabinet Room of the White House.

The daughter of Donald Trump, President of the US, serves as senior adviser to her father and is used to fulfilling duties on his behalf.

However, she looked subdued today as she took the meeting, showing a nervous facial expression.

Later on in the meeting she seemed to gain some confidence, breaking into a smile.

Her husband Jared Kushner, 37, also an advisor to Donald, was pictured sitting in the corner of the room watching his wife. Donald was also in attendance.

Ivanka wore a pale pink skirt suit for the important meeting at the White House.

The suit jacket had a peplum style, nipping in at the waist and then flaring out over the stomach.

She had pinned a pearl and gold brooch to the lapel of the jacket.

The skirt had a panelled style and a tight pencil silhouette.

Her nails were polish-free and cut short for a natural look.

She wore her blonde hair parted in the centre and straight, falling over her shoulders.

Ivanka wore more makeup than usual: her eyes were ringed in dark kohl and her eyebrows were defined with pencil.

Yesterday, Ivanka Trump was all smiles despite some bad news for her eponymous fashion range.

Ivanka visited the GenCyber Summer Camp in Washington.

The daughter of Donald Trump was there on an official visit as part of her advisor role on her father’s board.

She posted pictures on her Instagram account, which has an impressive 4.4 million followers.

In the pictures she looks relaxed and smiling – despite news that broke less than 24 hours ago the Canadian department store Hudson’s Bay has dropped her eponymous clothing line, Ivanka Trump.

Earlier this week, the store chain made the announcement that they were dropping Ivanka Trump’s line due to “performance”.

“Hudson’s Bay is phasing out this brand through the fall based on its performance,” the company said in a statement. “As part of our regular course of business, we review our merchandise offerings and make appropriate changes.”

However, Hudson’s Bay had also been the subject of a number of campaigns to boycott Trump family products including a campaign called Grab Your Wallet.
