Brigitte v Brigitte: Macron beams with former screen siren Bardot in Paris

Brigitte Macron, 65, was a the Elysee Palace in Paris today with her husband President Emmanuel Macron.

The couple were embroiled in discussions surrounding animal conditions in France.

One surprising guest that was also in attendance at their discussion was former screen siren Brigitte Bardot, 83.

An animal rights activist herself, Bardot runs her own animal welfare charity, the Brigitte Bardot Foundation.

In the Parisian sun, the two Brigittes looked radiant and happy as they laughed and chatted with each other on the steps of the Elysee Palace.

First Lady Macron looked happy and relaxed, wearing a tight pair of blue jeans and she bid farewell to Bardot following the meeting.

She wore a loose-fitting crisp white shirt, drowning her tiny frame in fabric.

The shirt was buttoned almost to the top and featured a laid-back Mandarin collar, with cropped sleeves perfect for the hot weather.

On her feet she wore a summery pair of blue, cork-heel wedges. Adding an extra glamorous oomph to her ensemble.

She wore her signature blonde hair in a freshly blow-dried bob, with her gleaming smile her only accessory.

Also looking laid-back was the former actress and sex symbol turned activist Brigitte Bardot, who was known as one of the most beautiful women in the world at the height of her career.

Despite the heat, she wore a glamorous all-black ensemble, made up of black, loose-fitted trousers and a tight black t-shirt.

A nod to her classic style, Bardot’s t-shirt had her namesake bardot neckline, adding a slinky touch to the classic Parisian look.

In true French style, she wore a black ribbon tied around her neck in the style of a choker.

The 83-year-old’s age-defying look was topped off with a Bohemian hair style, with her long locks tied in a loose bun on the top of her head, accessorised with a striking red flower.

Channelling another one of her signature looks, Bardot wore striking cat-eye eyeliner and dark eyeshadow, a favourite look of hers in her heyday.

The two famous blondes seemed to be enjoying each other’s company, as Macron helped Bardot – who was walking on crutches – into an awaiting car.

Macron herself is known for her 1960’s style look, a look championed by Bardot in the height of her career.

Possibly taking inspiration from the French blonde bombshell, Brigitte wore a risqué 1960’s style mini dress for the second day of the NATO Summit.

Showing off her deep, golden tan, the dress was a pale grey in colour and appeared to be made of a stretchy jersey material.
