Ivanka Trump clothing brand to close: Donald’s daughter makes move to politics career

Ivanka Trump will close her fashion clothing line to focus on a political career.

The mother-of-three released a statement to announce the closure.

The tall, blonde former-fashion model addressed her success with the company.

However, she revealed continuing to work in Washington is her goal currently.

“When we first started this brand, no one could have predicted the success that we would achieve,” the statement read.

“After 17 months in Washington, I do not know when or if I will ever return to the business, but I do know that my focus for the foreseeable future will be the work I am doing here in Washington, so making this decision now is the only fair outcome for my team and partners.”

“I am beyond grateful for the work of our incredible team who has inspired so many women; each other and myself included.

“While we will not continue our mission together, I know that each of them will thrive in their next chapter.”

Due to strict rules the business has currently been running with limitations.

This is to avoid the violation of any ethical laws that might be breached in the unusual position of a business owner working on government policy.

The current president of the Ivanka Trump brand, Abigail Klem, said in a statement: “We are incredibly proud of the brand we have built and the content and product we’ve developed for our customers.

“I know that this was a very difficult decision for Ivanka and I am very grateful for the opportunity to have led such a talented and committed team.”

She added the move was “a very difficult decision for Ivanka.”

Mother to Arabella, Theodore and Joseph, is an official employee in Donald Trump’s administration.

It has recently been claimed by a friend of Trump that Ivanka and her husband plan to stay in Washington for a long time.

The source said: “Whenever she invites people, they all want to come see her in Washington.

“They love it in Washington. The kids love it. “They are in it for the long haul.”

Since her father’s election Ivanka has carried out various important international trips.
