Ivanka Trump shares snaps of loving father-daughter trip to Illinois with Donald Trump

Ivanka Trump, 36, is the unofficial First Daughter of the US, being the eldest daughter of President Donald Trump.

Having just announced the closure of her eponymous fashion brand, Ivanka has well and truly turned her attention to politics.

Showing how serious she is about her senior adviser position, she joined Donald on a tour of US factories and manufactures in Iowa and Illinois.

The statuesque blonde posted a series of images documenting the trip to her Instagram account.

The images show Ivanka and her father spending some quality time together, as they tour the industries in the Midwest.

Revealing she enjoyed herself on the tour, Ivanka captioned the images: Thank you Dubuque, Iowa and Granite City, Illinois!”

The snaps show a beaming father and daughter touring the businesses, photographed in front of a “Pledge to America’s Workers” backdrop.

One image shows Donald grinning to the camera, holding a logo-emblazoned hat up in the air, while Ivanka beams and claps for him.

Others show the father-daughter duo touring factories wearing hard hats and protective eyewear, with Ivanka still managing to look perfectly preened.

Donald was also snapped showing his appreciation for his daughter, resting his hand on her upper arm.

The mother-of-three also met with workers, families and locals, appearing in her element as she shook hands and chatted with the crowds.

During the visit, Ivanka wore a stunning navy blue and white polka dot dress, reminiscent of Minnie Mouse.

The gorgeous summery dress featured large white collars, on both her neck and wrists and an over-sized white waist belt, showing off her tiny frame.

The flowing dress came to just above her ankles, and was buttoned to the top with stand-out white buttons.

Her glossy blonde hair was perfectly straight and parted down the middle, not faltering after wearing a hard hat and touring open furnaces.

The snaps were posted on Ivanka’s Instagram account, attracting much attention from her 4.4 million followers.

Many showed their praise for the 36-year-old, with one writing: “Thank you Ivanka, for all of your work!”

Others showed hope for the US economy, posting: “Breathing life back into our economy, and that right soon.”

It’s been a family-oriented week for Ivanka, who recently expressed her joy at her brother-in-law Josh Kushner’s engagement to supermodel Karlie Kloss. 

Leaving a loving comment on Karlie’s engagement image, Ivanka called the stunning supermodel her “sister”.
