Ivanka Trump dons sexy biker-style jacket and helmet for visit to workforce centre

Ivanka Trump, 36, took to her Twitter tonight to post a series of images of her day touring the Weber Workforce Development Centre in Illinois. 

Posting to her 5.68 million followers, Ivanka shared the snaps of her wearing a rather unusual outfit choice.

The usually impeccably dressed daughter of Donald Trump, 72, was wearing a sexy biker-style black jacket and clutching a protective hard hat in her hands.

She captioned the post: “Great day w/ Rep @RodneyDavis visiting the @lewisandclarkcc Weber Workforce Center & highlighting the importance of skills training + vocational ed for the success of America’s students + workers & the future of America’s economy. #PledgeToAmericasWorkers #WorkforceDevelopment”

The first shot shows Ivanka beaming as she poses with workers who appear to be metal workers.

Close to the machinery, Ivanka presumably wore the attire for protection.

Not adhering to other health and safety rules, the “first daughter” chose to wear her long blonde hair loose and down.

The images were also shared to her Instagram account, which saw her even picking up the tools herself and having a go at using the tools.

Making a quick change, the next photo shows Ivanka back to being dressed like herself, as she sits on a panel at the Lewis & Clark Community College.

On the panel, Ivanka wore a dark green midi dress, featuring a high neck and capped sleeves.

The pencil dress was fitted around the top and flared out from her waist, adding a more whimsical element to the outfit.

On her feet she wore a pair of black, slingback, pointed-toe stilettos with an ankle strap.

Her social media followers were quick to praise the senior White House advisor for her efforts to support US industry, with one writing: “Thank you for pursuing vocational skills training.

“We need more skilled workers, which had dwindled since we brought manufacturing oversees (sic).”

Another posted: “Proud of you @IvankaTrump”.

Ivanka’s look was a stark contrast to the peach, floral ensemble she wore last night to a business dinner at the Trump National Golf Club.

The beautiful mother-of-three wore Roland Mouret dress, which retails at $2,265 (£1,758).

She gave her stepmother Melania Trump, who also wore a pinky hued dress, a run for her money.

Melania’s Monique Lhuillier dress, which she was wearing for the second time, cost £464.

This meant it was a third of the price of Ivanka’s dress for the occasion.

Real name

Ivanka is not, in fact, her real name. She actually shares her mother’s name Ivana.

Explaining why she is known as Ivanka in a 2010 tweet, she said: “In Czech, Ivanka is the baby name for Ivana, like Bobby is to Robert.”

TV appearances

Ivanka was well known to the American public before her father became President thanks to appearances on TV.

She made short cameos on Project Runway and Gossip Girl, as well as becoming a primary boardroom member on The Apprentice with Donald.

Wedding

Ivanka married Jared Kushner on 25 October 2009 at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, after a three-month engagement.

Barron Trump served as ring bearer, as Ivanka wore a custom Vera Wang gown accessorised with diamonds from her fine jewellery collection.

Religion

Ivanka was raised as a Presbyterian Christian, but converted to Judaism to allow her to marry Jared Kushner.

Ivanka studied with Elie Weinstock from the Modern Orthodox Ramaz School, on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City.

She now keeps kosher and observes the Jewish Sabbath. Ivanka said in the February 2015 edition of Vogue: “We’re pretty observant… It’s been such a great life decision for me… I really find that with Judaism, it creates an amazing blueprint for family connectivity.

“From Friday to Saturday we don’t do anything but hang out with one another. We don’t make phone calls.”

Career

Ivanka ran a fashion line for 11 years, only recently closing it down. She also had a fine jewellery store which closed in March 2017.

Ivanka now focuses on her role as an advisor to the President, Donald Trump.
