Avengers 4: See dead heroes trapped in Soul Stone by Thanos in INCREDIBLE ‘poster’

Posted on Reddit by user EpicMusic13 and designed by Yadvender Singh (@ultraraw26 on Instagram), it changes the logo to spell Avenge Us and sees all of the fallen heroes appearing to hang out inside the Soul Stone.

Visible are Drax, King T’Challa, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Mantis, Groot, Scarlett Witch, Gamora, Star-Lord and more.

Thanos’s face hangs over the fallen Marvel favourites in the incredible design, which you can see below.

The Soul Stone visuals are recognisable from the end of Avengers: Infinity War, when Thanos had a brief moment there to be confronted by the younger version of Gamora.

The setting of that scene was confirmed in the Infinity War Blu-ray commentary, after initial confusion of whether it was a dream sequence or a hallucination.

Since being shared six days ago, the poster has amassed almost 30,000 likes on Instagram and has been 91% Upvoted on Reddit.

Avengers 4’s plot is unknown but fans generally expect many – if not all – of the heroes killed in the Snap to make some sort of return.

Not only are many of them already revealed to be back for more movies, but most of them are also confirmed to have shot scenes for this movie alone.

The surviving Avengers at the end of Infinity War included Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Captain America, Nebula and Rocket among others; so they will presumably lead the race to bring Thanos to justice.

Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson, will also pop up – after being contacted by Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) in the Infinity War end credits scene, before Fury too turned to ash.

Ant-Man and the Wasp revealed more characters who perished when Thanos wiped out half of humanity: including the Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) and her mother Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer).

That film’s end credits scene ended with Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) being trapped in the Quantum Realm, which many fans have predicted will be integral to the plot of Avengers 4.

Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) is also thought to be in the next movie, after being completely absent in Infinity War.

The Russo brothers will begin reshoots in October after getting back in the editing suite a couple of months ago.

Avengers 4 will draw a line under the current phase of the MCU, bring to an end the last decade’s worth of stories.

Avengers 4 is out in May 2019.
